Note on the legal situation
The Accessibility Act (BaFG) applies to “services in electronic commerce within the framework of a consumer contract” and thus primarily concerns B2C (business-to-consumer) transactions.
Our website is aimed exclusively at businesses and business customers (B2B) and serves to provide general information about our services and our company. No services or contracts with consumers are offered via this website. For this reason, this website is not subject to the Accessibility Act (BaFG).
Status of compliance with requirements
Since there is no legal obligation for this website to be accessible, it has not been fully reviewed or implemented according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Nevertheless, we strive to make our website accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Act (BaFG), which implements the European Accessibility Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for services (EEA). In our ongoing website maintenance, we ensure the clearest possible structure, understandable content, and good readability.
Areas with optimization potential
In the interest of transparency, we would like to point out some areas where we see further potential for improvement:
PDF documents: Our PDF documents are not fully accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged, meaning they cannot be accessed or can only be accessed inadequately by screen reader users. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value) is not met. Please let us know if you experience difficulties with specific documents. We will prepare the content in an accessible format upon request and subsequently replace the documents or supplement them with accessible alternatives.
Areas with optimization potential
Images and graphics: Some decorative elements could be more precisely labeled as such.
Planned action: Systematic review of the alt text implementation.
Color contrast and readability: Most text elements already meet the contrast requirements. Individual areas could benefit from even higher contrast ratios.
Planned action: Fine-tuning of the color palette in certain areas.
Keyboard navigation and focus management: Keyboard navigation is generally possible. The focus indicators could be made clearer in some areas.
Planned action: Optimization of the visual focus display.
